'House Of Cards' Season 5 Release Date, Cast News: Patricia Clarkson And Campbell Scott Set To Join Show

We may not realize it, but we live in the era of spoiler insanity and rumors especially now that one of the best American drama series "House Of Cards" Season 5, has made it official about the new casting. Season 5 is approaching, which means we will see more of the veterans in the industry.

Breathecast has recently revealed Patricia Clarkson and Campbell Scott as the new members of the "House Of Cards" Season 5. The two are assumed to become lead characters of the political thriller series.

The 56-year old Clarkson have an outstanding track record in many drama series throughout her career. Two of her bests are her guest role in HBO's "Six Feet Under" and as Greta in "High Art."

The actor and voice artist Campbell Scott is perhaps best remembered as Boris Kuester von Jurgens-Ratenicz in drama series "Royal Pains." And also as the exceptional scientist father of Peter Parker, in two Marvel films "The Amazing Spider-Man."

We will see the characters tangled in many controversies and death scenes in the fifth season. Deadline made an interview with Michael Kelly who plays Doug Stamper in the series. He carried a hint by saying, "You lose characters that you love."

The challenging plot turns for the veteran actor sends him to his second Emmy nomination. Sad to say, this fifth season will go forth without the original showrunner Beau Willimon. Kelly also assured fans that Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson, the two seniors writers will handle it well.

One of the controversies that viewers are suspecting in the fourth season has hinted Spacey's possible departure from the show. But that is not being taken seriously as of now.

For now, fanatics need to wait for a little bit longer until the network's announcement of its release date. Netflix hasn't spilled the beans regarding the significant characters of the two actors in the series.
