Kevin Jonas and his wife, Daniella, welcomed their second daughter on Thursday. Valentina Angelia, the newest addition to the Jonas family just made her father's dream come true.
The eldest among the Jonas' brothers previously expressed his desire of being a father to 2 girls. The singer wanted to be surrounded by girls because he spent most of his life having been around with boys, Daily Mail reported.
This appears to be contrary to the belief of many modern men, who are reportedly reluctant to admit that they want boys as children and that they only say they wanted to have a daughter so they will not upset their wives. Is there any truth to this?
Dr. Glenn Wilson, gender and sexual psychology professor, said that men seek pride and importance of having the family name passed on to the next generation, hence, the desire for sons. It cannot be denied as man's primal desire for male heir dates way back to thousands of years ago, Daily Mirror had learned.
That may not be the case for the 28-year-old musician, who grew up with 3 brothers - Joe, Nick and Frankie. The couple, who got married in 2009, was blessed with their first born daughter in 2014.
The news was spilled by his brother, Nick, who was at that time in Hawaii filming for "Jumanji." The 24-year-old actor uploaded a video on Instagram with a caption, congratulating the couple.
Before becoming a parent, Kevin was a part of band known as the Jonas brothers. They were introduced years back and their popularity rose with the release of Disney's "Camp Rock."
Now it's time for the Jonas' sisters. The world is definitely excited on whatever the future has in store for Alena and Valentina.
