In an interview with Cartermatt on the set of "Chicago Fire," Kilmer talked about her thoughts on her character's co-writing a firefighter's romance novel with Mouch (Christian Stolte). The actress detailed that when she first got hold of the script, she thought that the plot on the writing of the romance novel was just a joke.
"I thought they were making fun of me a little bit. It is really funny, slightly disturbing pairing of the two of them to write a romance novel," Kilmer quipped.
The actress then talked about the questions that ran through her mind regarding the seemingly funny plot. Kilmer thought about how it would turn out for Brett and Mouch. She also wondered about how Trudy will react on the finished book.
Kilmer further added, "For however long they let us do that, hopefully, it's a lot of laughs."
Speaking of Trudy (played by Amy Morton), the actress also told the magazine that fans will have a glimpse of the house of Trudy and Mouch in one of the episodes of "Chicago Fire" season 5 soon. However, Morton did not reveal the exact episode where it will be shown so fans will have to look forward to this scene.
Meanwhile, TV Guide also posted the list of guest stars who will appear on episode 5 of "Chicago Fire." Fans of "Chicago Fire" will get to see Sergeant Trudy Platt of "Chicago P.D." in the upcoming episode 5. Aside from Platt, Donna Robbins will also appear as Melissa Ponzio.
