‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 23 Week 8 Recap: James Hinchcliffe Got A Perfect Score, Wins Immunity With A Joker-Harley Quinn Performance

The Joker and Harley Quinn tandem proves to be a lucky choice for James Hinchcliffe during the week 8 episode of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 23. For the Halloween episode of the dancing competition series, James Hinchcliffe and professional partner, Jenna Johnson emerges as the big winners.

As reported in Yahoo, the judges and the viewers of "Dancing with the Stars" were impressed by James Hinchcliffe's amazing performance especially because the IndyCar driver has to dance with a new professional partner that night. His partner, Sharna Burgess failed to appear in week 8 of "Dancing with the Star" due to a knee injury.

For the Halloween-themed show, James Hinchcliffe and Jenna Johnson danced the Viennese Waltz to the song "You Don't Own Me" in full Joker and Harley Quinn costumes. After earning praises from the judges for such an exemplary performance, the result is a perfect 30/30 score for the pair in "Suicide Squad" characters get-up. Then it turns out that one more pleasant surprise is waiting for James Hinchcliffe as host, Tom Bergeron announced that he is also the lone contestant to score immunity that night.


Meanwhile, according to a post from USA Today, the Halloween episode of "Dancing with the Stars" did not go so well for Ryan Lochte who was eliminated that night. With a score of 23/30, Ryan and partner Cheryl Burke were one of the two pairs with the lowest scores.

It was then announced that Ryan Lochte had to bid goodbye to the show. The Olympic swimmer though did not forget to thank his partner, Burke for patiently teaching him and for being a friend.
