The 'Dude Diet' Will Let You Eat Healthier Version of Your Favorite Foods; Eating 'Dirty Things In A Cleaner Way'

Serena Wolf is a Cordon Bleu-trained health-food chef that came up with the "Dude Diet." She started figuring this phenomenal diet when she met hedge-funder Logan Unland in 2011.

Wolf initially felt drawn to Unland's intense love of food as he would devour carb-loaded subs with endearing brio. Wolf is usually amazed by the man's unbelievable appetite.

When Wolf moved into a railroad-style West Village apartment with Unland nine months later, she got worried about the man's dietary habits. She shared that there was one time when Unland would eat a plate of Buffalo wings and break out in a rash because of allergy but instead of stopping to eat, he would still eat the whole thing and just take in Benadryl.

The 5-foot-11 Unland weighed himself naked a few weeks later and saw he'd broken the 200-pound threshold. This has worried the 29-year old chef a lot.

Wolf came up with the "Dude Diet" because of such worry for Unland. She worked concocting healthy versions of some of his favorite comfort foods, such as mac 'n' cheese with whole-grain pasta, lean chicken sausage and cauliflower puree along with baked chicken parm coated with lightly crushed brown rice cereal instead of breadcrumbs. Unland later lost at least 25 pounds.

Wolf posted her recipes on her blog , and many find it really exciting to take. "My goal is to make it possible to eat..dirty things in a cleaner way," New York Post quoted Wolf saying.

Unland was initially skeptical about Wolf's recipes. Who would not? But many found Wolf's ideas as precious as they are.

Unland would sneak back into the kitchen after dinner to take down some servings of whatever the 'healthier' meal of the night was. He would also go overboard as he fellowship with buddies to compensate. But Wolf's concern and heart to help him for health consideration resulted in a major change in his life.

Now the Dude Diet becomes something that many love. It would help people who love to eat still achieve a body that hastens metabolism even at 30's. Nonetheless, it is always best to eat nutritious foods to make sure that health is maintained and longevity is ensured.
