According to Tech Radar, Onkyo LS7200 new soundbar squeezes 5.1.2 surround sound system into a soundbar and a wireless subwoofer. Onkyo LS7200 new soundbar also has an Audio Visual center control unit which will support Spotify Connect, TuneIn and Tidal.
Besides the two technologies, the Onkyo LS7200 is also to support several other audio solutions. The other solutions Onkyo LS7200 soundbar is supporting are DTS Play-Fi technology for multi-room sound, AirPlay and FireConnect.
Onkyo LS7200 is set to launch soon in the United Kingdom starting Jan. 17, 2017. The Onkyo LS7200's US availability has yet to be announced. The Onkyo LS7200 will be about $1000 US the moment it reaches the US soil hopefully shortly after UK release.
To add, What Hifi?, the Onkyo LS7200 is 53mm tall which allows both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X playback. The Onkyo LS7200 has the ability to upmix multi-audio channel to 3D sound. This technology of Onkyo LS7200 uses Surround Enhancer technology which enables it to have virtual rear speakers.
The virtual rear speakers of Onkyo LS7200 gives the illusion that different sounds produced are coming from a nearer source without the need for physical speakers. The Onkyo LS7200 has two speakers each for both left and right and center channels which connect through a cable to separate AV center.
The AV center of Onkyo LS7200 has four HDMI inputs. The Onkyo LS7200 has at least one is HDCP 2:2-compatible to allow viewing in 4K. Onkyo LS7200 can play music through DTS Play-Fi which is a free app for iOS and Android.
Onkyo LS7200 also has a 40-preset FM tuner. The new Onkyo LS7200 also comes with AV sync function and L/R tone controls. This is definitely a system perfect for movie buffs for a more realistic fee.
