'Pokemon Go' Latest Update: Daily Bonus Perks For Catching Pokemon, Visiting PokeStops; 'Pokemon Go' Gen 2 All Set For December?

Coring on their first "global in-game event" that saw Holiday Pokemon Gastly, Gengar and Gobalt in the spotlight, Niantic Labs is once again prepping and poking "Pokemon Go" trainers for a brand new bonus pack. The next feature will, among others, give them bigger perks if they catch a Pokemon or visit a PokeStop every day.

Recently, tech blog Engadget echoes Pokemon Go Live's official post that a new update will be bringing "more bonuses, more fun" to trainers worldwide. According to the sources, players who catches a Pokemon on a daily basis will immediately give them 500 XP and 600 Stardust. Doing so for seven days straight and the bonus will rack up to 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust. That's four times the charm just by going about your daily "Pokemon Go" activities.

Niantic Labs is also giving your favorite PokeStop a bonus boost. Visiting their favorite spot and "spinning the Photo Disc" every day will earn players an automatic 500 XP and extra items. Add this to your weekly routine and you'll receive 2,000 XP and a "greater number of additional items". Basically, that's 1,000 XP a day, provided that trainers catch a Pokemon and visit a PokeStop, and 4,400 in Stardust and XP if this practice goes on the entire week.

Essentially, Niantic Labs wants casual "Pokemon Go" players to level up quickly while at the same time, giving veteran trainers an upper hand if they are already conquering gyms here and there. The bonus, Engadget added, refreshes when the clock strikes midnight on a player's time zone. To put things straight, if a "Pokemon Go" hopeful catches a Pocket Monster on a Monday, they will be eligible for the next daily bonus by Tuesday, 12:00AM.

Hopefully, trainers will have enough Pokemon at their disposal for "Gen 2", which is rumored to come next month as a Holiday treat, or by early 2017. It will contain a hundred new Pokemon, including Onix and Slowpoke, 86 new moves and "Baby Pokemon" hatched through Breeding.
