'Ghost Recon' Wildlands Open Beta Is About To Launch; Ubisoft Announced The Beta Play Will Start This Year

Ubisoft confirmed that the upcoming "Ghost Recon" Wildlands will be launching an open beta that will be held this year. The "Ghost Recon" Wildlands will have its open beta test before it hits the market on March 2017.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed during an interview, that there will be an upcoming open beta play for the "Ghost Recon" Wildlands. It has been said that the open beta will be held by the next quarter as the Gamespot reported.

Though Guillemot did not mention the specific date, the "Ghost Recon" Wildlands open beta play is expected before the year ends. The Ubisoft's first half of the fiscal has ended last September, with this, the "Ghost Recon" Wildlands beta play is expected between October and December.

Players will play as part of the Ghost team as they will be sent to a massive open-world map which is the first time that the series will adopt. The "Ghost Recon" Wildlands is set in the modern day, of course, with the modern day military arsenal such as the drone technology that can be used to recon and highlight the enemy's position.

Some features will include the dynamic weather system and a day-and-night cycle. One of the features that the "Ghost Recon" Wildlands will also be adapting is the dynamic AI reaction and response, as shadows can now be used to conceal and hide.

The "Ghost Recon" Wildlands will be using some features from the previous title, but with some added features and mechanics. A gameplay trailer was revealed a month ago featuring one of the in0game missions.

The "Ghost Recon" Wildlands was being compared to "The Division" when it comes to success rate in the market, Game Rant reported. Everything can only be judged until the time we get our hand on the "Ghost Recon" Wildlands next year.
