‘Prison Break’ Season 5 Air Date, Finale Update: Michael Fights Hard To Leave Yemen But Won’t Meet His Son; Season 6 Possible?

"Prison Break" Season 5 is believed to share the same plot of the Greek poem Odyssey where a man resurrected from death to search for his wife and son. In the upcoming fifth season of the hit series Prison Break, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is suggested to find a way to leave Yemen to finally meet his son Mike (Christian Michael Cooper). Could it be possible that Michael will not get the chance to see his son on "Prison Break" Season 5 which will lead for a possible sixth season?

"Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to see Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) team up with Michael's long time friends to help free Michael from Ogygia Prison in Yemen, Parent Herald reported. Though it was a tough job to get through the Ogygia security, Lincoln and Sara will apparently be successful in helping Michael out. However, the shady firm that Michael worked for in the past is expected to kill him, causing danger to Lincoln and Sara's lives as well.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is then suggested to see how Michael, Sara and Lincoln implement a way to leave Yemen safely. Reports claimed that the organization that Michael was involved in is a powerful terrorist group. Apparently, Michael did something that crossed the line which leads the group to have him imprisoned.

That said, it will not be easy for Michael to escape the terrorist group. This will reportedly cause him to be trapped in Yemen and lose the chance of meeting his son for the first time. If he fails to leave the country, will Michael still be able to see Mike in the future?

It seems possible that the series creator will leave a cliffhanger on the finale of "Prison Break" Season 5 and renew the show for another season to continue the story. It is interesting to see a Prison Break Season 6 that will follow Michael's quest to be with his son. However, long-time fans of the show may find it better to see Michael and Mike finally see each other as "Prison Break" Season 5 wraps up.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is slated to premiere in Spring 2017 though no official air date has been confirmed.
