"GTA 6" from Rockstar is reportedly happening with a London map based on "Grand Theft Auto 5" clues. While "Red Dead Redemption 3" events bring a welcome interval before "GTA 6" drops, Rockstar is believed to be released the new "Grand Theft Auto" game soon after "RDR 3."
As Parent Herald cites "GTA 6" is widely believed to be moving outside of the US borders. Specifically "GTA 6" has been widely reported to be happening in a London setting.
However, no firm announcements or clues on the "GTA 6" London map have arisen until Mobi Picker pointed out the "Grand Theft Auto 5" easter eggs. The media outlet points out that the map of "Grand Theft Auto 5" was first teased by an easter egg in "GTA 4."
As Mobi Picker interestingly pointed out, the map for "Grand Theft Auto 5" had been determined even while "GTA 4" was being developed. "GTA 4" was released in 2008, while Rockstar released "Grand Theft Auto 5" in 2013.
Similarly, the "GTA 6" map can also be traced inside "Grand Theft Auto 5." For the full details on the "GTA 4" "Grand Theft Auto 5" easter eggs, click here.
According to Mobi Picker, the first "GTA 6" London map clue can be found inside Michael's house. A second "GTA 6" London map clue can be found in a mural near the Los Santos Customs.
If Rockstar relocated "GTA 6" to London, this would be a long-awaited change for which "Grand Theft Auto" fans have been on the look out. A London map in "GTA 6" after all will be the first time that the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise will be going transatlantic.
To date, the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise has remained Stateside, with the Los Santos and Blaine county map as the biggest in the series by far. Announcement on the "GTA 6" release date is still forthcoming, but it should only be a matter of time for "Grand Theft Auto" fans once "Red Dead Redemption 3" hits the shelves.
