Polygon reported that Blizzard officially unveiled "Overwatch" latest hero, Sombra, using a video presentation at the opening of 2016 Blizzcon. The "Overwatch" latest character appears as a cyberpunk with a short-range machine gun equipped with a large magazine. Sombra's origin story revealed as an orphan of the Omnic Crisis. She then was turned into a cybernetically enhanced hacker.
In addition to Sombra's impressive, cybernetically enhanced, hacking skills, she also has the ability to disrupt an enemy's abilities, to create health packs unusable for enemies, and the added bonus of invisibility, teleportation, and an X-Ray-like vision. This makes it easier for Sombra to destroy her enemies. Sombra can also detect enemies with only 50% of their health left. She can use Thermoptic Camo to hide from her enemies and increase movement speed. To teleport, Sombra can use translocator.
Blizzard also released new maps for "Overwatch" including Oasis, and the new Arcade section features new modes and new rules. New maps will also be released but it is only for the Arcade's new modes.
According to GameSpot, the new Arcade section includes game modes 1v1 Mystery Duel, 3v3 Elimination, 6v6 Mystery Heroes, 6v6 No Limits, and All Brawls. Some of the game modes allow players to play characters they have chosen each round or characters that were randomly selected or assigned by a specific mode. "Overwatch" also have modes that limit only one character to play.
"Overwatch" players can play the new Arcades in different modes for three times in a given week. Those who win three matches will be given new Loot Box Rewards. These will be available when "Overwatch" new Arcade will be released next week.
