There had been rumors that "Hunter X Hunter" will no longer be released because of the health condition of the anime's creator and writer. This worry fans thinking that aside from the manga series, even the anime series will also be canceled as well.
Speculations reveal that due to the back ache of Yoshihiro Togashi, he can no longer work on the manga. It is said that he hired some writers and manga artists to work with him but they were unable to live up to the expectation of the manga series. With that, his wife Naoko Takeuchi was rumored to take over. Takeuchi is also a manga artist and the person behind the successful anime and manga series, "Sailor Moon."
But recently, Togashi was seen during the 40th-anniversary celebration of Osamu Akimoto's "Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo" which is also known as "Kochikame," Anime News Network reported. In a photo shared by Hisashi Eguchi, Togashi appeared healthy despite the back pain health issues that had been milling around the web.
Seeing Togashi in a good condition, fans are now hopeful that "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 31 will be released soon as well as "Hunter X Hunter" Season 3 anime. Others even accuse the manga artist as faking his health condition but most of the fans are expecting to see another "Hunter X Hunter" release by 2017.
According to a Reddit post, the hiatus of the manga will be very short because a JUMP editor who is related to Togashi revealed that the 24 chapters were already done two years ago. Out of the 24 chapters, only 11 were already published. Instead of the health condition of Togashi, the Reddit user said that the delay is caused by the editing of volume 34.
While other chapters are still waiting for release, reports indicate that Togashi is currently working on more chapters for "Hunger X Hunter." This revelation came from a young comic author named Hatakeyama who won a Fujio Award.
He had a chance to meet with the JUMP editor of Togashi who told him that the artist is indeed having back pains but the best 24 chapters were already finished. The editor also said that Togashi is working hard on more chapters which sure is a contradiction to what is being circulated online.
Other "Hunter X Hunter" news reveal that Chapter 31 will cover the Dark Continent arc and will most likely be released on 2017.
