"Duck Dynasty" is a megahit reality show that's been running for 11 seasons. With almost 14 million viewers, the show clearly has a strong following and their stars are big influencers even in the political scene.
But who are they supporting in the upcoming U.S. elections? That's what some fans have been speculating for some time since "Duck Dynasty" mainstay Phil Robertson has been known to defend Republican candidate Donald Trump in the past.
In an interview with a radio show last October, Robertson said that people should not heavily criticize Donald Trump. He also revealed that he has discussed faith with Trump, as reported by US Weekly.
"I would just remind America, we need to give Donald Trump time, or anyone else, when it comes to 'Well you know, he did this and did that,'" Robertson said in the radio interview. "Like we're not all sinners? I mean, give me a break."
Recently, another star of "Duck Dynasty" posted a message on social media urging their fans and viewers to vote. Korie Robertson also noted that everyone can commit mistakes, but God will guide their decision for this upcoming election.
Does this mean that the "Duck Dynasty" stars will vote unanimously support a candidate?
Meanwhile, "Duck Dynasty" season 11 is debuting on Nov. 16, with its pilot episode entitled "Automation Frustration." According to TVGuide, the season premiere will involve Willie Robertson buying a 3D printer. The guys are threatened that instead of being a tool for their productivity, the new printer will eventually replace them.
How will they resolve this problem? See the first look of "Duck Dynasty" season 11 in the promo below.
