‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Episode 4 Spoilers, Casting Update: Is Tyler Going To Die? Actress Nina Dobrev Confirmed Next TV Gig

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 has been rumored to see the return of Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert. However, latest news broke that actress Dobrev has confirmed to join another TV series and it is not "The Vampire Diaries" this time. Meanwhile, one of the original characters of "The Vampire Diaries" is expected to face a heartbreaking death on the next episode.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 has been speculated to see the comeback of Elena but Dobrev has not officially announced her return to the show. Though The CW network already confirmed that they are in talks with Dobrev about it, nothing has been finalized yet. However, unlike her casting on "TVD," Dobrev's appearance as a guest star on "Workaholics" Season 7 has just been announced through an official tweet from the actress herself.

"The Vampire Diaries" star Dobrev posted a video of Adam Devine with hashtag #Workaholics on her official Twitter account. This apparently confirmed her inclusion on the show though no details have been revealed as to what her character would be, CinemaBlend reported. It still remains to be seen whether Dobrev will agree to return as Elena on "The Vampire Diaries" after her "Workaholics" project.

Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 4 is expected to reveal whether Tyler (Michael Trevino) will survive Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) attack, Parent Herald reported. Also, Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) is now under Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Alaric's (Matthew Davis) custody after they successfully knocked her down using the tuning fork discovered by Alaric. However, Damon and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) are now bounded to Sybil and the duo is suggested to be the ones to free Sybil from Stefan and Alaric.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is airing every Friday nights on The CW. In the meantime, check out the next episode trailer of "The Vampire Diaries" below. Let us know your thoughts by dropping a comment too.
