Michael Buble 3-Year-Old Son Diagnosed With Cancer; Not Leukemia or CNS Lymphoma Says Lopilato

Michael Buble and his wife Luisana have announced that their 3-year-old son Noah has been diagnosed with cancer. The devastating news was posted Friday on Facebook. However, according to Buble's sister-in-law Lopilato, it is not not leukemia or CNS lymphoma.

"We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing."

Buble and his Argentinian wife model Luisana Lopilato did not confirm what type of cancer Noah has. Lopilato said, "The only thing I ask is that you don't speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means."

"I can't even begin to touch that one, to be honest, because it's a 3-year-old," Shannen Doherty told Entertainment Tonight. "I would imagine your child having cancer is devastating as a parent." The 45-year-old actress who is also battling cancer advised Buble and his family to "stay positive".

Last month, when Michael Buble seemed to be on top of the world with the release of his seventh studio album, “Nobody But Me,” ET interviewed the 41-year-old singer about being a father to Noah and his 10-month-old son Elias. According to the singer, he loves both his children more than he will ever love anything, or anyone in the whole universe. Michael Buble also added that because of both his son and his love for them, it gave him the perspective on life that he thinks he very badly needed. “It's hard to be able to quantify that level of love."
