Jennifer Aniston Talks Sexism, Claims She Was Reduced To A 'Sad, Childless' Woman; Is She Happy Over Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt Divorce?

Jennifer Aniston is the ex-wife of Brad Pitt and she was recently dragged into the divorce drama of the actor from his second wife Angelina Jolie. Jennifer Aniston covered the December 2016 issue of Marie Claire magazine and she talked about sexism and being reduced to a sad and childless woman by many people.

In a report by US Weekly, the 47-year-old actress said that she was shamed throughout her career after her split from Brad Pitt back in 2005. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married from 2000 to 2005 and she said that her marital status, divorce status, and her lack of mate were shamed in the past. She said that she questioned the reason why people are looking at women through these particular lenses.

She added, "I just thought: I have worked too hard in this life and this career to be whittled down to a sad, childless human," USA Today reported.

This is not the first time that Jennifer Aniston talked about the issues that people have with her. In July, Jennifer Aniston slammed the reports claiming that she was pregnant. She then wrote an op-ed blog post for The Huffington Post and said that she is not pregnant and is fed up with the security and the body-shaming that occurs on a daily basis. She said that the objectification and scrutiny that women are put through is absurd and disturbing.

Despite the problems from the society, Jennifer Aniston said that she found peace with her husband Justin Theroux. The two tied the knot August 2015 at their Bel Air Mansion and said that she believes her husband now is the right person for her.

Jennifer Aniston said that she feels completely seen and adored by Justin Theroux no matter what state she is in noting that there is no part of her that she does not feel uncomfortable showing or exposing. She continued to gush about her husband saying that it brings about the best part of herself because she cares so much about her husband.

Aside from that, she also noted that the most difficult thing she is worried about now is making choices about the crossroads she has to take and what will make her heart sing.
