In light of Jay-z and Beyonce's support campaigns for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, who is the rival of Clinton in the race, slams her for making use of celebrity endorsers to campaign for elections. Although Trump is famous for making use of celebrity endorsers for business purposes, Trump hits that he doesn't need the help of celebrity endorsers to help him win this presidential candidacy because he has enough ideas to "make America great again".
According to People.com, Trump believes that if a presidential candidate has a lot of great ideas and aspirations, then he or she does not need any of these celebrity endorsers to win the match. Clinton was known to have the back up of the powerhouse couple during a concert in Cleveland this year. They have been backing up Clinton as celebrity endorsers ever since.
According to Time, the reason as to why the couple is backing Clinton as celebrity endorsers is because they believe that Clinton will give the black community an actual voice in the political process. Aside from the power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce, other artists such as rapper Chance and also Blue Ivy are seen to be supporting Clinton as celebrity endorsers in her presidential campaign. The concert that Beyonce and Jay-Z hosted in Cleveland also included many other celebrity endorsers that support Clinton such as Katy Perry, Big Sean, and John Legend.
Through all this, Donald Trump quipped that he does not need all of those celebrity endorsers to bring in a bigger crowd. According to Trump, he was able to bring in massive crowds that are much bigger than the crowds that these artists brought in.
Of course, Trump's campaign did also make use of celebrity endorsement but only one. In a rally in Michigan, famous guitarist Ted Nugent came out and played a number for Trump.
However, it is in fact, Clinton who has most of the celebrity endorsements. The elections are today with Trump currently leading the polls.
