Ubisoft has recently discussed via live stream the upcoming DLC for "The Division" titled "Survival." The mission gets tougher as the "Survival" mode of "The Division" only allows players to complete the mission within the two-hour limit.
The new DLC for "The Division" will turn the third-person shooting game into a multiplayer survival game. With the new DLC, gamers will have to overcome thirst, hunger and heat like battling with the usual fatal villains, in a limited game time. Also, the game developer has just published the official trailer on its YouTube account dubbed "Tom Clancy's The Division Trailer: Survival DLC Update - Expansion II."
Kotaku reported that Ubisoft had a surprise livestream where the developers of "The Division" talked about the incredible DLC. The developers also announced that PC players can now try out the new DLC "Survival" on the Public Test Server.
"The Division" DLC "Survival" is said to be an optional mode for the game, where elaborate mission is aimed to be accomplished before the player's character dies after the given two-hour game limit.
The new DLC of "The Division" can engage up to 24 players into a "Survival" session, where each player begins in various spots around the perimeter of the virtual Manhattan, with low-level green items and a pistol as his gear, and will target to arrive at the center of Manhattan before the character dies in the given two-hour limit.
As the title "Survival" for the new DLC for "The Division" suggests, the condition of the players at the starting point will be very weak, starving, dehydrated, cold and sick which gamers will have to manage in order to survive the mission and reach the center of the map, called the Dark Zone.
Players can expect new hideouts, where gamers can hone their skills, as they will have no skills at the start of the game.
Also, players will find that "The Division" game will be tougher with the new DLC as it has eliminated the mini map of the game.
"The Division" DLC "Survival" has a price tag of $14.99, Gottabemobile noted. However, gamers can get it for free with the purchase of "The Division" Season Pass which costs $39.99 on PlayStation Store for PS4, Xbox One Store for Xbox, and at Steam for PC gamers.
Ubisoft has not announced the release date for the new DLC for "The Division" yet.
