The "American Horror Story: Roanoke" Season 6 Episode 9 pre-finale special aired last Wednesday, Nov. 9 got Audrey (Sarah Paulson) exclaiming that everyone's dead. Could this be true? Or is it just a scare tactic?
Thankfully, Lee (Adina Porter) was still standing behind Audrey during the scene, so obviously, someone else is still alive. "American Horror Story: Roanoke" Season 6 Episode 9 centered on a group of hikers who wanted a photo of the haunted Shaker House on Instagram during the Blood Moon.
Unfortunately, one of the hikers, Diana (Shannon Lucio), got killed by the Piggy Man while inside the car. The remaining characters reported the murder to the police, but they couldn't find a body, TV Line recaps.
And then, Audrey was seen inside the haunted Shaker House. She informed Dylan (Wes Bentley) not to stir the situation further, but Dylan decided that they must all go together. Meanwhile, Lee also wanted to confess to the murder of Mason (Charles Malik) as she burned him. Outside, another murder is staged as fans saw Dylan who seemed to be killed by Lot.
So the remaining characters of "American Horror Story" were on the run to save themselves. Monet (Angela Bassett) and Audrey sought shelter at the haunted house, but Lee was heading towards them. It was clear that Monet was possessed by the Butcher. "You do not belong here," she said in the Butcher's voice. For Lee, she didn't belong there as she was shockingly pushed over the stairs and succumbed to death.
The final hours of "American Horror Story" Season 6 Episode 9 saw Sophie (Tamissa Farmiga) and Milo (Jon Bass) being burned to death. The cops arrived at the haunted house and saw the bodies of everyone dead, except for Lee and Audrey. Unfortunately, Lee didn't have any recollection of what transpired.
Audrey, furious over her friend's death, grabbed a cop's gun and aimed at Lee. However, before she could fire, the cops shot her down. Indeed, the promise of a lone survivor was delivered, as reported by Vanity Fair.
