‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash,’ Supergirl,’ And ‘DC's Legends Of Tomorrow’ To Have An Ultimate Crossover; Spoilers And Promo [Video]

Stephen Amell, who plays as Oliver Queen in CW's "Arrow," recently hinted of an ultimate superhero crossover in an Instagram post. The photo included what seems to be the boots of "The Flash" (Grant Gustin), "Supergirl" (Melissa Benoist), and White Canary (Caity Lotz) of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."

According to TV Line, the four-way crossover will happen on the 100th episode of "Arrow," specifically Season 5 Episode 8, entitled "Invasion." It's where the extended universe of DC will converge based on its 1988 comic issue. The superheroes will have to fight against the Dominators, an alien alliance that wants to get all the powers of the meta-humans and use it in making the ultimate meta-soldiers.

In an interview, Amell described the episode to be "really cool." And one of the coolest parts is when fans see almost "twenty superheroes...in this big airplane hangar," he told Entertainment Weekly.

And speaking of cool, "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist is thrilled that her character finally gets to be part of the cool kids. She added that the crossover was a great venue for all the characters to showcase their abilities.

Fans surely remember a "The Flash" and "Arrow" crossover before, but this sure "is a lot bigger" according to Grant Gustin, star of "The Flash". He said that everyone gets to interact with every character in the huge episode.

"Arrow" Season 5 Episode 8 is definitely something all fans and viewers should look forward to. Are you also excited for this ultimate DC superhero showdown? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below!
