Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date & Specs: 6.2-inch ‘Bezel-less’ Display Model To Come With Smart Assistant ‘Bixby’

Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with "bezel-less" display panel. Reportedly, Samsung has come up with this idea to get back the customers trust after the fall of Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung Galaxy S8 models will have two variants: 5.7 inches and 6.2 inches. According to PC Tablet, Samsung is trying to get back the trust it lost with the explosions of Galaxy Note 7. Samsung is trying to attract customers who prefer large screens with two variant models and one with "bezel-less" display. The purpose of Galaxy S8 is mainly for the customers who used Galaxy 7.

Rumors on the display size are all around. Some suggest that Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a 5.1-inch and5.5-inchh display along with 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch display models. Although the design of the handset remains same, the display will be bezel-less integrated with a home button. As Samsung is offering two variants in S8 models they may be named: Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus or Galaxy S8 Edge.

According to Android Headlines, Evan Blass' tweet revealed that Samsung has a device with the model number SM-N950. In the same tweet, he mentioned that the model numbers for the Galaxy S8 will be SM-G950 and SM-G955. This indicates Samsung will be up with Samsung Galaxy S models and not the Galaxy Note models. Samsung is not working on Galaxy Note 8 rather on Galaxy S8 to satisfy customers who lost Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to release during MWC 2017 in China followed by other countries. It is also rumored that Galaxy S8 will feature a smart assistant named "Bixby" similar to Google Assistant. Stay tuned for more updates.
