'Overwatch' Free To Play Weekend Special Is About To Launch; Blizzard to Include Sombra In The Free Event?

Good news for the fans, Blizzard will launch "Overwatch" free to play weekend special, where all the heroes are accessible, all for free. Blizzard will let the players select all the heroes and it will be good for 3 days.

According to a report held by the official website, Blizzard will release "Overwatch" free to play weekend special from November 18th to 21st. This event will be available on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The "Overwatch" free to play weekend special will provide a full access on all 22 heroes and a variety of maps on some game modes. Quick Play, Custom Games and the Weekly Brawl will all be playable in all 13 maps included in the free "Overwatch" weekend special.

"Overwatch" is now catering more than a massive 20 million players around the world as the EnGadget said. Having said about the 20 million players, Blizzard is now fixing the servers to prepare the storm of players over the weekend as Blizzard is expecting a huge player count since the "Overwatch" Weekend Special is a big free event.

Blizzard is not that yet, they are also giving Loot Boxes that contain some of the best skins and graffitis. Another good thing with this, is that it was confirmed that those unlocked items can be carried over once decided to buy the full game, but needs to be in the same platform.

Meanwhile, Forbes reported that players may notice that Blizzard only mentioned 22 heroes are for free though the fact is now it has 23 heroes in total. The newest hero named Sombra wouldn't be appearing yet in the Free "Overwatch" Weekend though she is accessible on the PTR.

It has been said that Blizzard is not taking an awkward moment to release a new hero while the "Overwatch" season two is about to end in the next 2 weeks. With regards to that, Blizzard is expected to release Sombra by the next month.

The "Overwatch" free to play weekend special will start at exactly 11am PT on the 18th of this month and will end on the 21st at 4pm PT as the Gamespot confirmed. The free "Overwatch" Weekend Special will need to be downloaded to all the platforms and it has been reported that it will take a total of 12GB file size.
