Nick Gordon To Be Charged with Manslaughter, BF Supplied Bobbi Kristina Brown's Drugs; Plea Deal Offered To Friend

After almost six months of being in a coma, the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown passed away on Sunday. While everyone is still grieving for Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, including her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, another bad news for Gordon appears. He could be charged with involuntary manslaughter, according to TMZ.

The report says that Gordon is wanted for allegedly getting Brown drugs on the day she almost drowned and was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January. He admitted that they did drugs in the morning of January 31.

Initially, the family suspected Gordon to be behind Brown's accident, but the autopsy did not help the authorities confirm the claims. The result showed no obvious signs of foul play, and although the toxicology report could determine if Brown was indeed under the influence of drugs, it couldn't verify who supplied the drugs.

However, the prosecutor is eager to establish that Gordon is liable over Brown’s death. The charge against Gordon was due to his effort of obtaining drugs for Brown amidst his knowledge that Houston’s daughter has the tendency to overuse it. TMZ further reveals that the authorities will be working with Max Lomas to witness against Nick.

Lomas is in jail for six months now. He was charged with two counts of felonies not related to Brown’s case. A source revealed that the authorities are considering a deal with Lomas, offering him a probation for his drug charges and immunity in Brown's case if he discloses the details of what actually happened on that day at Brown's residence.

Prosecutors said that Gordon had reasons to know Brown's drug problems and he was aware that she could indulge to the point of losing consciousness. However, amidst his knowledge, he still helped her get and use drugs, which lead to the incident.

Nick, in an interview with Dr. Phil, admitted that he used drugs, but insisted that he never harmed Brown and even refuted the accusations that he could be charged with a crime.

"Mom, I would never hurt anybody, I love people, I love babies, I love everything," he cried, according to Mirror.

In another interview last March with Dr. Phil, he said he tried to revive Brown after finding her in the bathtub unconscious. Gordon's mom supported him, saying she is not concerned with what anyone says about her son but she is certain that Nick would never hurt anyone.

According to Mail Online, the Fulton County Medical Examiner issued a statement, saying that they would conduct additional laboratory testing, which could take weeks. The medical examiner's office said, "Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging."
