MTV's "Teen Wolf" is back for its Season 6, the finals season. Promotional photos have been released, throwing some light on the real health status of Dylan O'Brien after incurring injuries on set while filming the third installment of "The Maze Runner" early this year.
In the promotional photos, all six major characters, Tyler Poser, Holland Roden, Shelley Heniq, Dylan Sprayberry, Khylin Rhambo, and Cody Christian have their one-sheets or solo shots. "Teen Wolf" Dylan O'Brien does not have his.
Fans speculate that the reason could be Dylan O Brien's character's (Stiles) mysterious disappearance at the beginning of the season. However, some fans have other theories on O Brien's absence of "Teen Wolf" one-sheet promotional photos. Dylan's absence from the promotional photos was due to injuries sustained earlier this year while filming "The Maze Runner."
According to Vulture last March, on the set of "The Death Cure," a stunt has gone terribly wrong leading to O'Brien being run over by a car and suffering serious injuries. O Brien's stunt in "The Death Cure" required him to jump to the back of a makeshift train car but was jerked by a wire attached to it and feel underneath the car, per source.
He was rushed to the hospital to treat a fractured cheekbone leaving him in his worst form. The accident was a near-death experience for Dylan and witnesses says that he almost did not survive the harrowing ordeal.
However, after months of no news, Dylan broke his silence on October 6, 2016, with a simple tweet showing his support for New York Mets.
"Teen Wolf" Season finale airs on November 15, 9 p.m. on MTV.
