Mariah Carey 2016 News: Diva Is Back With Nick Cannon Following Split From James Packer? Singer Using Ex-Husband To Satisfy Her Needs

Mariah Carey seems to be taking her split from billionaire James Packer well. Reports say that the diva wants to get back with her ex-husband after her engagement to Packer fell through. But insiders are quick to say that Carey's reason to get back with Nick Cannon is not to get married again, but to simply satisfy her sexual needs!

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Mariah Carey wants to rekindle her relationship with Nick Cannon, for the sole purpose of physical intimacy. The gossip website goes on to claim that Mariah Carey misses having a physical connection, as she has never slept with former fiancé James Packer in the two years they were together. Apparently. The "Butterfly" singer does not believe in sex before marriage.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon met when they shot a music video for her song. They were married in 2008 and got separated six years later. They share custody of their five-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, so it's not surprising that the two will still be in contact with each other after all. Maybe Mariah has hopes that Cannon would ignite the fire between them once again.

There are actually no official statements from Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon regarding the possibility that they are back together. In fact, The Sun reports that Carey was recently seen getting flirty with backup dance Bryan Tanaka. Carey and Tanaka have been photographed together a few times since the end of Carey's engagement to Packer.

Of course, Mariah Carey and Brian Tanaka have known each other for years, and have collaborated together a few times. So, no one knows for sure if the dinner is just two friends going out or if they have decided to become a couple.
