How Important Is It For Parents To Keep Children Healthy

Recently, the ignored sector of health has again gotten attention. They are now adopting better and improved policies so that children do not have to suffer the consequence of bad health.

The report, Healthcare Of Tomorrow from U.S. News extensively examine the challenges that the health sector is facing. The leaders and stakeholders have already made their stance very clear that the health and wellbeing of children are the priority.

After this, multiple NGO's and activists have made efforts to assure the best quality of health by raising awareness especially for kids who are most vulnerable. CEO and president at Nemours Children's Health System named Dr. David Bailey says that there are much more dimensions that need to be studied in this context.

There are other aspects of population growth and chronic diseases that need to be evaluated as well to take a measure of health. Bailey focused on the principle of "population health" that means ensuring health for the people living in a specific region.

During the U.S. News Healthcare of Tomorrow Conference that was held in Washington, D.C. from Nov. 1 to 3, Bailey said that they are struggling to ensure the best and qualitative health services to the markets they serve in all income brackets. Bailey further stressed that the insurance system should promote and improve health rather than waiting for sickness.

It is also important to connect with the community and establish a relationship with them. By launching awareness campaigns, it is easier to have an impact on people, making them educated about the possible health threats and chronic diseases.

According to Dr. Steve Allen, who is a CEO at Nationwide Children's Hospital, the surroundings and environment are ignored elements but have a very deep impact on children's health. The main focus should be elevating the living and health of people, not gentrification.
