The game date update to enable the "One Piece"-"Dragon Ball Z" cross-versus action multiplayer game is now available. This update was first announced at the launch of the "One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum" Nintendo 3DS game back in September.
The question on who will win in a fight between Luffy from "One Piece" and Goku from "Dragon Ball Z" now has an answer. The update that will enable players who own "One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum" and/or "Dragon Ball Z: Butouden" can now access the cross-versus action multiplayer game. Now, players with "One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum" can now fight with players who have "Dragon Ball Z: Butouden". The cross-versus multiplayer game includes online and local battles. The update is now available in the Nintendo eShop. Both "One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum" and "Dragon Ball Z: Butouden" are only available for the Nintendo 3DS.

"One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum" also features simple controls and combos. The player can get a steady increase of bounty by defeating rivals.
"Dragon Ball Z: Butouden" is also a Nintendo 3DS 2D-fighting game. It also features simple controls but has character specific moves to unleash Super Moves to deal heavy blows to your opponent. The first release of "Dragon Ball Z: Butouden" does not have online support but with this latest game update, not only can the players get the online battle system for "Dragon Ball Z: Butouden", it also unlocks the cross-versus game feature. "Dragon Ball Z: Butouden" features fan-favorite "Dragon Ball Z" characters like Goku, Vegeta, Frieza and other 100 more characters in the "Dragon Ball Z" universe.
