It seems like archrivals Cloud Strife and Sephiroth will clash once again. Unfortunately, it won't be in the eagerly anticipated "Final Fantasy 7" remake everyone is hoping for. The "FF7" villain Sephiroth is now included in the roster of playable characters for "Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade".
"Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade" is an arcade game developed by Team Ninja of Koei Tecmo in partnership with Square Enix and Taito. It is a three-on-three battle system but one-on-one combat is also available. Characters have two types of attacks (Brave Attacks and HP Attacks), can use EX Mode and summon monsters by filling up the summon bar. In the latest update, players can now use weapons based on the character's design from other "Final Fantasy" and "Dissidia" games.
"Final Fantasy 7" villain Sephiroth will be made available on the "Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade" update on November 24 for players who met the required criteria on the "Conflict of Gods" event and will be available for the rest of the players on December 8.
"FF7" villain Sephiroth will join other "Final Fantasy" characters like Y'shtola, Ramza Beoulve, Ace, Spiritus, and Materia. "Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade" was released in Japan last November 2015. There were rumors of porting the game to PlayStation 4 but development fell through.
"FF7" villain Sephiroth is a fan-favorite "Final Fantasy" character. The character Sephiroth was first introduced in "Final Fantasy 7" and was seen on other games such as "Kingdom Hearts", "Dissidia Final Fantasy", "Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy", and "Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII" among others.
Sephiroth is best characterized as someone brutal and cruel. The "Final Fantasy 7" villain is also known for his long silver hair and piercing eyes. Sephiroth uses a long katana as his main weapon. Sephiroth is the embodiment of the dark side of another "Final Fantasy" character, Cloud Strife.
Do you wish you could play "Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade" too? Are you hoping the game will be released on PlayStation 4?
