"Good Behavior" series starring Michelle Dockery premieres tonight on TNT. Michelle Dockery is best known as Lady Mary in the critically acclaimed period drama, "Downton Abbey". In "Good Behavior", Michelle Dockery's character will leave fans, especially "Downton Abbey fans, reeling and asking, "What happened to Lady Mary?"
"Good Behavior" is TNT's latest dark, sexy, thriller show based on the Letty Dobesh novellas by author Blake Crouch. Blake Crouch is no stranger to television. Along with his partner for the television show, "Wayward Pines", Chad Hodge, the two are back creating Blake Couch's creation, this time Letty Dobesh, for television.
The first episode for "Good Behavior" has been available for streaming these past few days but TNT's newest show officially starts tonight with a two-hour episode premiere. "Good Behavior" follows Letty Dobesh, played by Michelle Dockery, an ex-con and meth junkie who goes back to her old habits of drug abuse and thievery after failing to stay on the straight and narrow path.
During her running scam of stealing from hotel rooms, Letty Dobesh doesn't get out in time from the hotel room she's currently burglarizing and has to hide in the closet. From the closet, Letty Dobesh overhears the room's occupants, a husband, and an assassin, finalizing a deal of killing the husband's wife.
"Good Behavior" then perfectly comes into play the very concept of the show's title. Letty Dobesh for all her misguided activities tries to engage on good behavior by trying to foil the assassination plot. But it all falls through as Letty Dobesh, though successfully foils the assassination, is now trap on a sexually tensed relationship with the assassin Javier, played by Argentine actor, Juan Diego Botto.
The heart of "Good Behavior" is the constant struggles for Letty Dobesh and Javier and other characters of "Good Behavior" that are portrayed as flawed still try to act and grasp the concept of good behavior. And just like the tagline for "Good Behavior", the characters most especially Letty Dobesh and Javier, are bad at being good.
Most critics like THR and Variety are hailing Michelle Dockery's performance in "Good Behavior" magnetic and saying "Good Behavior" is one of the best show's TNT has released. Catch the two-hour premiere of TNT's newest show, "Good Behavior" tonight at 9/8 c.
