Parenting doesn't come with a manual, but Louis Tomlinson, One Direction boyband member, is set on taking a course to learn about all these.
To prepare for the birth of his upcoming baby with Briana Jungwirth, Louis is said to be mulling over taking parenting classes, a source tells Hollywood Life. "Louis is taking his impending fatherhood very seriously," reveals the source to the news outlet exclusively. "He's even considering taking parenting classes because he just doesn't know what to expect when he becomes a dad."
The 23-year-old boy band star surprised a lot of his fans when he announced that he's going to be a dad back in July, as reported in Parent Herald. While the young heartthrob claims that there is no romantic relationship between him and the baby mama, the arrival of his little one has Louis excited. His own mother, Johanna, is just as eager. "She thinks being a dad will help Louis settle down and ground him, make him think about a future beyond the band, and have the chance to do something meaningful with his life," an insider told the British magazine, Closer, according to the Independent.
However, it was his mentor and boss, Simon Cowell, who made Louis realize the reality of the situation, which prompted him to seek parenting classes. "It was actually Simon's warning that he should grow up that pushed him into action," the Hollywood Life source said. "Louis told his baby mama Briana of the idea, they speak regularly, and she's fully behind it. They both know they're so young, so whatever helps, they're willing to listen to."
Meanwhile, the young star is still keeping his other obligations in line, especially since One Direction is still in the middle of their world tour, and they are currently in the U.S.
On Wednesday, One Direction will be performing in New Jersey's Metlife Stadium before moving to Baltimore in the weekend to perform at the M & T Bank Stadium, according to the band's official site.
The week following this, the band will be in Columbus, Ohio before heading off to Chicago and Milwaukee, as well as Toronto, Canada for more performances. In the final weeks of August, the band will return to Ohio in Cleveland, before closing the month's tour in Detroit.
The band will continue touring U.S. until September before returning to their motherland, London, by the end of the month. In the midst of all these, One Direction has also released its latest single, "Drag Me Down," which is currently topping iTunes.
