The much-awaited full trailer of the movie "Jackie" has been released and many were fascinated by it. The film follows the story of Jacqueline Kennedy right after her husband John F. Kennedy's assassination.
"Jackie" will show one of the most tragic yet significant moments in the history of the Unites States in the perspective of the then First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy. This movie will take us back to 1963, as Jackie Kennedy struggled to keep the legacy of her husband and the world they have created in Camelot.
Natalie Portman who will play the titular character, once again graced us with a stunning performance in this film. This is said to be Natalie Portman's greatest portrayal to date. The Oscar-winner's act is so captivating that the audiance will feel the pain Jacqueline Kennedy went through during that time.
The film has already gained high praises in film festivals. Huffington Post noted that this Pablo Larrain film was seen in Venice and is set to be released in US on Dec. 2 and in UK on Jan. 20, 2017.
Joining Natalie Portman in the film are actors Peter Sarsgaard who plays Bobby Kennedy, Billy Crudup as the journalist interviewing the First Lady the entire time, Greta Gerwig as White House Social secretary, John Carroll Lynch as Lyndon B. Johnson, John Hurt as a priest, Beth Grant as Lady Bird Johnson and Caspar Phillipson as John F. Kennedy.
The movie appears to be very appropriate because of the recent US Presidential elections where many appeared to be devastated by the results. On a positive note, Perez Hilton claimed it is a timely reminder to America that they have already gone through a tragic event in their history. Therefore they can go through anything that is yet to come their way.
