Entertainment Weekly reported that the Casey Bloys of HBO confirmed that the network is still discussing the possibility of a "Game of Thrones" prequel to the author of the novel which the show was based upon, George R.R. Martin. If ever it will happen "Game of Thrones" will be the first ever show to have a spinoff in the history of HBO series. This can be credited to the fact that the fantasy drama received various recognition and can boast of about 20 million loyal viewers.
