Tesla Model 3 Release Date, Price And Latest News: Electronic Car Expected To Come Out In 2018; Mass Production Starts on Mid-2017

Electronic car enthusiasts have been waiting for the release of Tesla Model 3 as it promises impressive specs with a considerable price. The latest news has it that Tesla partners with Grohmann Engineering to keep up with the mass production.

Tesla Motors Chief Executive Elon Musk announced that the anticipated Tesla Model 3 will have premium features like a 2170 battery cell and Autopilot that the company has been working with Panasonic. However, in order to keep up with the pre-orders of Tesla Model 3, they are in dire need of another entity that would achieve their goal. This has prompted the company to acquire Germany's Grohmann Engineering to ensure that the mass production of their cars will be on schedule since the company will help Tesla Motors in the improvement of the automated manufacturing methods, according to Auto Week.

Tesla Motors is not solely focusing their energies on cars, and so they have to find ways to deliver methods of production for their other products. Tesla Model 3 is scheduled to start mass manufacturing in mid-2017 and is planned to be launched sometime in 2018.

Tesla Motors is reportedly preparing to produce 500,000 units annually in 2018, immediately after Tesla Model 3 is out on the market. Car analysts believe that Tesla Model 3 will come out as an affordable electronic car since it is only priced at $35,000 without incentives.

One of the most talked about features of Tesla Model 3 is its 215 miles per charge peak performance without sacrificing the safety standards set by Tesla Motors. Aside from this, the electronic car is equipped with eight cameras and 12 sensors to ensure a 100 percent autonomous self-driving competency.

There is one catch, though, future owners will need to order the feature if they want to enjoy the fully autonomous self-driving ability. In fact, they have to prepare around $8,000 for the Tesla Model 3 features or else the hardware will just be useless.

Tesla Model 3 has no exhaust system, engine and gearbox, which implies that it is a supercomputer capable of self-driving. This is a different technology Tesla Motors has never done before with their current products.
