Mom Changed Baby’s Dirty Nappy On The Café Table, Owner Criticized, Both Fired Up In Social Media

The fire was set in between a Brisbane woman and the management of a café because of an unusual act that involved the woman's baby. The woman was slammed after she criticized a cafe owner, who was annoyed when she changed her baby's nappy on top of a cafe table.

The new mom was named Stephanie Plan, according to a report by Practical Parenting. The plan reportedly posted some negative reviews against Park Bench Espresso. These were after she was confronted by the staff who were unhappy about her move of changing her 12-week-old baby on a table in front of customers.

"My baby has been having difficulty breastfeeding and gaining weight, so I sat to enjoy my coffee and feed her while there," Plan was quoted by News.com.au as saying. She said that her baby had a dirty nappy so naturally she'd go and change it. She put the change mat down so as to change her so in such a way that this 30-degree heat, will not develop a rash sitting in on their way home.

The new mom did not seem to get the sympathy of netizens as some even reacted that she did it the wrong way and what she did was very unethical. Nonetheless, her point about the attitude of the staff, the waitress for example who gave her "a dirty look was not given commiseration on the other hand.

Plan approached the manager upon leaving and asked if there was a problem with the baby and her sitting there. The manager responded in a critical way and reportedly said that she didn't think it was appropriate to change my baby there, as Daily Mail reported.

"To this woman and the two other customers who made comments regarding this. Mothers don't need your judgment or criticism. We have enough pressure and stress we deal with on a daily basis. We rarely get the opportunity to get out and have a coffee amidst the long list of things we are doing for our families every single day..." Plahn posted along with a supposed to be apology about any offense she has done, but she continued to defend herself and the hard time she is having a new baby.

Jocelyn Ridgway, the café owner, responded by saying that she does not have much more to say other than in the same way, anyone does not expect someone to have a baby to be fed in a toilet, so does she does not expect people to eat while a nappy is being changed too.
