"Hannah Montana" is airing on Disney Channel this December and fans can't wait to see Miley Cyrus on TV again. However, it will not be a reboot of the hit TV series but a rerun of the past four seasons of the show in honor of the Christmas holidays.
"Hannah Montana" marathon is set to begin on Dec. 3 and the entire series will air until Dec. 29, MTV reported. The news was announced on the official Twitter page of Disney Channel this Thursday. However, "Hannah Montana" reboot is not in the cards yet.
No reports claimed a possibility of "Hannah Montana" reboot though actor Jason Earles seems to be interested in the idea. Actor Earles who played as actress Miley's brother on "Hannah Montana" was previously interviewed by Brown and Scoop radio where he expressed that he was down for a "Hannah Montana" reunion.
"If Disney was like, 'Hey, let's do a brand new show, let's do four more years of this' or 'Hey, we're going to do a special six-episode "Hannah Montana" reunion,' I would do any of that stuff because that place is like family to me," the actor said according to TeenVogue.
Earles also talked about singer Miley and said she is the best. "She is legit the best. She gets this reputation for being crazy and totally out there, and she is a bit of a free spirit, but she's honestly one of the sweetest people I've ever been around," Earles explained.
"She did [so much] stuff with Make-A-Wish when we were doing "Hannah Montana," where she would carve out the time to meet with the kids and their families and try to make it as special as possible for them," the actor added.
"Hannah Montana" premiered in 2006 on Disney Channel and ended in 2011. The story follows the life of Miley Stewart portrayed by singer Miley herself as she leads a double life as a schoolgirl at daytime and famous singer "Hannah Montana" by night. Check out a clip of "Hannah Montana" below.
