Nintendo Switch Update: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild May Miss Nintendo Launch Date, Fans Looking Forward To Mario and Skyrim

Last October, the Nintendo Switch teaser left fans excited for the launch date in March 2017. However, the biggest game featured in the Nintendo Switch trailer may not make it in time for the release date.

The heavily featured game in the Nintendo Switch trailer, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is unlikely to be released on the same day as the console's launch date. Although Nintendo has not made any comment confirming this rumor, according to Emily Roger, Eurogamer and Laura Kate Dale of Let's Play Video Games, there may be a delay in the arrival of the game.

Although this may have disappointed some fans of the game, many are still excited for the Mario, Splatoon, Skyrim and NBA 2K17. These games are expected to be launched on the same day as Nintendo Switch's release date.

In addition to the games featured in the video, Pokémon Sun and Moon will have its version for Nintendo Switch. Fans may expect more game lineups in the coming months. The game company's initial list of partnerships with third-party game developers can give some clues as to what games may become available for Nintendo Switch in the future.

Some possible games that may be released on Nintendo Switch include Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, Sniper Elite 4, Sonic Mania, Dragon Quest XI, Batman, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Minecraft, and LEGO series to name a few.

In January 2017, a test version of the Mario game will be available to the press. The game lineup will also be officially released as well. Until then, all the news surrounding the Nintendo Switch are still just rumors which include its price. Reported estimate reveal that the retail price will be about $300 in the US.

One thing's for sure though, its hybrid functionality (a console and handheld device in one) makes it easy for gamers on the go. The interesting features of Nintendo Switch make it a much-anticipated game console.
