Recent updates about Niantic's "Pokémon GO" centers on the application's system updates. Word goes around that a new Pokémon is set to breakout. Mewtwo, one of the rarest Pokémon, is reported to arrive in the ecosystem.
Players can only access 145 out of 151 Pokémon. Trainers need to go to certain continents just to catch the rarest ones. Some of the rare Pokémon includes the three Legendary Birds, Ditto, Mew, and Mewtwo.
After much talks about the three Legendary Birds, it's about time to move on to another rare Pokémon - Mewtwo. In the original trailer of Pokémon, Mewtwo appeared in NY Time Square. At first glance, it seemed a bit ridiculous but now that "Pokémon Go" is getting popular, Mewtwo is more likely to arrive in some way or another.
How will Mewtwo break in the game? There are lots of speculations going on.
Since Niantic does not want anyone to be left out, reports suggest that a big capture event will take place to debut Mewtwo and at the same time engage players. Mewtwo is considered as the most powerful Pokémon in the game and because of this, we can expect a lot of Mewtwos in local gyms.
Originally, there is only one Mewtwo and he was treated as a good in the Pokémon universe. These speculations about spawning several Mewtwo will ruin the gym ecosystem and the Pokémon universe.
Forbes suggests that Niantic and Pokémon Go developers need to rethink its gym or battle system. Some would probably suggest to only allow one Mewtwo per gym but that would be boring.
There might be some people who would suggest denying placing Mewtwos in gyms but can use them as attackers while others would suggest to not allow Mewtwo to attack or defend gyms. If any of these gets finalized, where's the fun in playing Pokémon Go?
