Marvel’s ‘The Defenders’ Spoilers: Mike Colter & Rosario Dawson Spotted Kissing In New Set Photos!

Marvel's "The Defenders" is bringing together Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) against a common enemy. Updates and set photos have begun pouring in over the last few weeks and it's not stopping anytime soon.

New set photos from "The Defenders" showcased Colter kissing one of his character's known love interests, Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson). Check out the images from the set of "The Defenders" below.

A romantic connection between Luke and Jessica was previously shown in the latter's solo series. In the "Luke Cage" solo Netflix series, however, the titular hero hooked up with Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Claire, with the latter as the woman who really captured his heart, according to Screen Rant. That romance, however, was cut short when Luke went back to prison.

Colter and Dawson's intimate moment on the set of "The Defenders" can be proof that she is his primary love interest in the series despite his romantic connections with Jessica and Misty. It's going to be interesting to see how Jessica, Claire, and Misty would interact with one another should they be in the same room together.

Other recent set photos also showed Luke and Misty on the streets, as well as Jessica and her best friend, Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor), Parent Herald previously reported. "The Defenders" will feature characters already introduced on "Daredevil," "Jessica Jones," and "Luke Cage" such as Scott Glenn (Stick), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Eka Darville (Malcolm), and Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth).

Sigourney Weaver is also in "The Defenders" cast in a villain role. Jessica Henwick of the upcoming series "Iron Fist" will return to her role as Colleen Wing. The Defenders will be fighting The Hand, a sinister group whose secret weapon is Elektra's The Black Sky.

There are rumors that "The Defenders" will feature the Marvel Comics character, Typhoid Mary, as one of the series' villains. In the comics, the character developed three abnormal personalities after an accident.

The eight-episode "The Defenders" will air on Netflix in 2017. What do you think of Luke and Claire's intimate reunion? Are you excited for the mini-series' debut next year? Share your thoughts below.
