‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ News And Updates: ‘Star War’ Standalone Film, ‘Rogue One’, Gets ‘Transformers 5’ Teaser Trailer Accompaniment!

It seems like the new marketing strategy to promote new films is to ride on popular films currently showing in theaters. The newest "Star Wars" standalone film "Rogue One", will get a "Transformers: The Last Knight" teaser trailer accompaniment when it hits theaters worldwide.

Michael Bay is going to release a teaser trailer for the "Transformer 5" film, "Transformers: The Last Knight" before the screening of "Rogue One". The "Transformers 5" director shared this news on his social media account and on the official "Transformers" Facebook page. The social post includes a video of "Transformers: The Last Knight" director, Michael Bay standing in front of an IMAX theater.

This "Transformers: The Last Knight" teaser trailer announcement follows another teaser trailer announcement from the movie "Spiderman: Homecoming" that will also accompany "Rogue One" when it hits theaters this coming December 16.

The unexpected "Transformers 5" movie, "Transformers: The Last Knight" official plot has not yet been released. Rumors have it that "Transformers 5" will be about Optimus Prime going back to his home planet of Cybertron where he finds it ruined and dying. To help save his planet, Optimus Prime must find an artifact hidden on Earth.

"Transformers" fans are guessing that the artifact in question would be in the hands of Merlin. Photos from the set of "Transformers: The Last Knight" shows the location of the film in Scotland and in Great Britain. Actors are also seen wearing medieval garb. People are guessing that the "Transformers 5" film will have an Arthurian and time-traveling concepts added to it.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" also became controversial when a photo from the filming in Great Britain was leaked and showed the house of Winston Churchill covered in Nazi flags and actors in Nazi uniforms. This outraged "Transformers" fans in Great Britain but "Transformers 5t" director Michael Bay assured fans that the scene will all work out in the movie and the legacy of Winston Churchill will not be smeared.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" will see the return of "Transformers" alum Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Stanley Tucci. Newcomers to the "Transformers" franchise include Laura Haddock, Isabel Moner, Jerrod Carmichael, and the great Sir Anthony Hopkins. "Transformers 5" is coming to cinemas this June 23, 2017.
