But with the recent rise in popularity of "The Rock", what will happen to him in the "Fast And Furious" franchise? Will he be starring in the "Fast And Furious" spin-off as Luke Hobbs?

In an interview with L.A Times, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is not sorry for outing the feud he had with "Fast And Furious" co-star Vin Diesel. In an Instagram post, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson called out an unidentified "Fast 8" actor for always being late and calling the alleged actor "candy ass". TMZ then reports that the so-called "candy ass" was none other than "Fast And Furious" actor Vin Diesel.

At the end of the filming of "Fast And The Furious 8" all seems well for both actors, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vin Diesel, even posted on their respective social media accounts that everything was well and acted as if there really was no "Fast 8" feud. An insider confirms that the film executives had a sit-down meeting with the feuding "Fast 8" actors and the issues were resolved.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says he doesn't regret calling out Vin Diesel. The "Fast 8" actor who plays agent Luke Hobbs in the "Fast And Furious" franchise says he doesn't pretend to be anyone else. The audience will see what Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is without the frills and whistles. The "Fast And Furious 8" actor even adds that he might have been reprimanded with that Instagram post but became a great publicity for the upcoming "Fast And Furious 8" film.

Now that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is one of the highest-paid and popular actors in Hollywood, will he be getting the main lead in the "Fast And Furious" spin-off? Most "Fast 8" fans would love to see Luke Hobbes in the "Fast And Furious" spin-off.

"Fast And Furious" fans were introduced to Luke Hobbes during "Fast 5" and is now a permanent fixture in the "Fast And Furious" franchise. Producer Hiram Garcia in an interview in ComicBook.com has said that a Luke Hobbes standalone film is already in discussion. It all now depends on coordinating with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's busy schedule and when the Luke Hobbes standalone film will start production.
