"Deadliest Catch" ex-cast Jake Harris was robbed, beaten and left for dead on the side of the road. Two suspects are already apprehended from the incident which left Jake Harris in ICU. The alleged attack and robbery of the former "Deadliest Catch" cast member happened in Spokane, Washington.
People reports that around 8 PM on Saturday, police officers from Everett Police Department in Washington responded to a call made by a passerby that a man is injured on the side of the road. The man in question is "Deadliest Catch" ex-cast and younger brother of another "Deadliest Catch" cast, Josh Harris.
Officer Aaron Snell reports that Jake Harris rode with two or three unidentified people near Quill Ceda Creek Casino. Upon entering the vehicle, an altercation occurred that resulted in "Deadliest Catch" ex-cast Jake Harris getting robbed. At some point of the night, the car stopped by the side of the road where Jake Harris exited the car.
Officer Snell tells People that the "Deadliest Catch" ex-cast refused medical aid and was taken home by an officer. Upon arriving home, the family of Jake Harris had him checked out at the hospital where he was admitted to the ICU.
Jake Harris' brother, Josh Harris, the captain of Cornelia Marie in "Deadliest Catch" shared what happened to his brother through Facebook Live. Josh Harris said that his brother[Jake Harris] was jumped and beat him up pretty good. The "Deadliest Catch" captain also adds that the alleged individuals who beat his brother up have been identified.
Josh Harris further adds that Jake is currently in ICU because he so beat up to the point that his skull cracked open from the forehead all the way to the middle part of the head. The "Deadliest Catch" captain laments, "My brother is bleeding out of his brain currently".
In another Facebook Live video, Josh Harris vividly shares that his brother, ex-cast member of "Deadliest Catch" was beaten up and left for dead on the side of the road. Josh Harris also alleges that his brother was thrown out of a moving vehicle. Luckily, the car behind the alleged vehicle saw the incident and called 911.
In an updated report by KIRO7, two people have already been arrested in connection with the Jake Harris incident. Jorel Fultz, male, 29-years old and Amanda Ritter, female, 30-years old has been arrested on charges of robbery and are currently held in Spokane Country Jail.
Jake Harris and his family are cooperating with the authorities to resolve the incident. The "Deadliest Catch" ex-cast condition is currently in a "satisfactory condition" according to a representative of Providence Regional Medical Center.
Last Monday, "Deadliest Catch" captain Josh Harris thanked fans for their love and support and shares his brother is now doing fine. In a post in Facebook, the "Deadliest Catch" wished "Jake Harris the best with his recovery".
