Many are still disappointed that president-elect Donald Trump won the presidential bid over Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The latest Hollywood star to express her disappointment is bisexual Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui as she penned an open letter addressed to the real estate mogul and his fans.
The 20-year-old's letter was published on Billboard and he started off by saying that electing the power-hungry business tycoon will lead to the destruction of all the progress that have been made as a nation. Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui also called the supporters of Donald Trump as hypocrites since they believe that he is trying to protect American freedoms. She encouraged Donald Trump and his supporters to read history books.
Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui continued to say that restoring the former America will only stagnate the progression of the country and that the supporters of Donald Trump elected a person who had an 18-month campaign built on hatred. She went on to compare Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler because she thinks that both men appealed to the parts of supporters believing that their country was superior to the others.
Aside from talking about Donald Trump, Lauren Jauregui came out as a bisexual in her open letter. She shared that she is proud of who she is as well as being proud of where she came from because she is the daughter of immigrants. She shared, "I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it. I am proud to be a woman. I was raised to feel that I can do ANYTHING, and I will always believe that," Entertainment Tonight reported.
Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui ended her open letter by saying that the supporters of Hillary Clinton are not whining that their candidate lost but they are screaming battle cries against those whose political and personal agendas threaten the lives and the sanity of the American people. She added that the battle cries are their way to make sure that these people hear them and that they should know that they exist.
