Fans of the lightsaber-wielding, beam rifle shooting, decade-running intergalactic "Star Wars" movies, there's great news for you.
"There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?"
That's a line from a newly released trailer of a movie series that spans the universe in existence.
LucasFilm's "Star Wars" will have episode seven titled "The Force Awakens."
In a twitter post, LucasFilm gladly announced that "The First Order assembles."
True enough, that's what we saw in the Youtube trailer that was shown in Korean TV. Check the video below.
According to Screen Crush, "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will be taking place 30 years after the events in"Return of the Jedi." As such, the movie plot reportedly follows the search for missing Jedi Luke Skywalker.
Here are some things that we know about the upcoming sequel so far.
According to USA Today, the trailer features a voiceover by Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker, saying that his whole family — him, his father Anakin, Leia, and someone else — can tap into the power of the force.
And since the plot took around 30 years after the Return of the Jedi, someone probably could have a kid.bThe news outlet guesses it could be the child of Han Solo and Leia - they say it could be Daisy Ridley's Rey.
Also, a separate news from USA Today adds that while we see in the new trailer a massive army of stormtroopers gathered while awaiting order, we also get a glimpse of the back what seems to be Captain Phasma's head, as well as some other evil characters.
This gathering is aptly named "The First Order." We also get to see a lot of fight scenes in the trailer, which means there'll be more in the movie. Not only that, fans of Chewie will get to see him again too, as Han Solo returns with him.
The Force Awakens is directed by J.J. Abrams and written by Lawrence Kasdan and J.J. Abrams, per Screen Crush.
The cast includes Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong'o, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Gwendonline Christie, Andy Serkis, Max von Sydow, Domnhall Gleeson, Peter Mayhew, and Warwick Davis.
"Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens" will be released on December 18, 2015
