Talks about the upcoming December update for "Clash of Clans" include rumors suggesting that Supercell will be incorporating Virtual Reality Technology into the game among other new features. The speculations came after Supercell uploaded a 360-degree video of "CoC" on YouTube.
The video, which was published on Nov. 19, depicts a first person view of a Hog Rider as it charges through the opponent's village. The new "Clash of Clans" feature is supposedly going to allow players to view a raid in the eyes of a troop in the game.
According to Gamenguide, the feature allows players to get the point of view of an Archer, the Wizard Tower, or at the Town Hall. The real question is: will the December update for "CoC" actually include a new VR feature?
"Clash of Clans" fans on Twitter expressed their thoughts on the possible addition of a VR feature on the game. Here are some of their reactions:
Supercell has not made any announcements, and it is also a possibility that the video is one of the game's easter eggs, as reported by iTech Post. Additionally, the report states that a VR feature would defeat the purpose of "Clash of Clans" being a mobile game.
Furthermore, if the addition of VR technology comes to being, "CoC" players will have to get themselves a VR device to make use of the said feature. Supercell will have to consider this consequence as players will have to spend money for the feature.
