Next month, "Super Mario Run" is anticipated to be available for iOS, and for Android some time thereafter. Nintendo's president, Tatsumi Kimishima has revealed that once released, "Super Mario Run" can be downloaded for free, but will contain in-app purchases which will enable players to unlock the rest of the game's content.
Although "Super Mario Run" is set to be released for iOS in December, no specific date has been announced. The game will also be available for Android, but it may come out later in 2017, according to Tech Mic. Rumors also suggest that "Super Mario Run" could also be released for the forthcoming Nintendo Switch video game console.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Kimishima states that Nintendo is expecting "Super Mario Run" to reach the same level of success as "Pokemon Go." Some fans believe that the former will even exceed the latter.
Nintendo is utilizing Unity to aid in the development of "Super Mario Run." The official twitter account of Unity publicized that they are excited that Mario is finally coming to mobile. "Super Mario Run" is predicted to sell 50 to 100 million in its month of release alone.
Kimishima says that players will be playing "Super Mario World" without being bothered by additional fees since they only have to pay once to enjoy the full version of the game. He added that the game's pay structure will not cause the players to worry, as per Macworld.
"Super Mario Run" is largely based on the original Nintendo game, but is suited to the modern touchscreen gaming platform. Gameplay trailers of the upcoming game closely resembles the original with regards to artwork.
The game's pre-release entry on the App Store shows that "Super Mario Run" will be playable on iPad Air, iPad Mini 3 or later, iPod Pro Models, and iPhone 5S or above with iOS 8.0 or later. Will you be playing "Super Mario Run"?
