"Pokémon Go" finally released their latest update that stirred the players' excitement. Niantic finally revealed the secrets of "Pokémon Go" Ditto, which gathered different feedbacks from the players.
Niantic recently announced that Ditto is already added to "Pokemon Go." The big reveal also came with a surprising follow up where it was mentioned that the Ditto may be hard to spot as it is often disguised as another Pokemon. In a detailed post of the game's fan page, it was explained that the Ditto would only reveal itself after being caught. It was then explained that the Ditto only reveals its self after being caught.

Aside from the tips on how Dittos are caught, the Niantic also mentioned that using Pokemon in Pokemon Gym Battles may be tricky at times as the Ditto often copies the first Pokemon it sees, and managed to stay the same until the battle would end.
The code for Ditto is reportedly included on the stealth update, which was not added on the list of features, which can be a huge surprise for "Pokemon Go" players. The additional surprise feature on "Pokemon Go" may have excited the majority of the players, but there are those that were unimpressed of Niantic's latest announcement.
The Downside of Ditto
Players expressed their dislike for the added feature as some mentioned that the Ditto would often disguise itself as Rattata or Pidgey, which are two of the most common Pokemon that are often taken for granted. Niantic then explained that the "Pokemon Go" players must first catch the Ditto first, which means that there's a lot of trial and error on the process as they may come across just regular Pokemons.
