The recent episode of "The Flash" was centered on Killer Frost. Barry begged Julian to not turn Caitlyn into the police and he agreed under one condition, Barry has to quit CCPD. Not only the Killer Frost was the center of Tuesday's episode of "The Flash," Julian turns out to be Dr. Alchemy.
Julian (played by Tom Felton) was recovering in the hospital from the attack the Killer Frost did, and while he was there, he heard Savitar's voice that lured him to don the Dr. Alchemy costume, according to Entertainment Weekly. Julian's resistance to run away from the voice failed and came face to face with the true owner, Savitar. Savitar's return would only be possible if Julian becomes the God of Motion's servant one more time.
Tom Felton's revelation of donning the Dr. Alchemy costume was not a surprise for some fans. After all, he was in Flashpoint nor the original timeline. Suddenly, he became Barry's lab partner and that raised suspicion about his identity, on top of being Julian.
"The Flash" writers might have known it's not going to be a big surprise for the fans, however, Greg Berlanti mentions about a twist about the suspected revelation that happened. The revelation of Julian's identity as Dr. Alchemy came at the end of "Killer Frost" and the voice Julian woke up to seems more like a start to his Alchemy destiny, according to TV Guide.
"The Flash" recent episode has also launched a glimpse of Savitar's power. It is still not clear what he and Julian want on Earth-1 and the reason why Barry could be a threat to their mission. Barry may have the powers and alongside him is Wally, another speedster he can rely on, but it will hopeless if he doesn't know what his enemies want.
A lot of "The Flash" fans have different reactions towards the revelation of Tuesday's episode. While some of them already figured and put suspicion in Julian's identity as Dr. Alchemy, some think that it's probably too early for the identity reveal. There are 16 episodes for this year, and the seventh episode was the Alchemy revelation. That leaves more time to see some answers and revelations including Julian actually knowing that Barry is "The Flash."
"The Flash" Team and the herpes of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "Arrow" and "Supergirl" will be featured for a four-way crossover next week and they are set to battle the Dominators. "The Flash" is set to air its next episode on Tuesday, 8 p.m. on The CW.
