'The Walking Dead' Update: Chandler Riggs & Father Posted About Character's Fate In 'TWD!'; Carl Grimes Next To Die? [SPOILERS]

Chandler Rigg's Carl Grimes' situation in "The Walking Dead" has not been going so well. Recent reports suggest that Carl Grimes' fate in the series may be nearing its end, with proof, as Chandler and father William Riggs post photos in social media accounts bidding goodbye.

For a moment, everyone thought it would be over for Carl when he was shot in a former "TWD" episode and yet he survived. Now that the Saviors are ruling Alexandria, Carl will be going after Negan albeit his current situation.

According to Huffington, Carl Grimes will be saying his final goodbye in "TWD" soon. Why? Simply so Chandler Riggs can go to college. Chandler posted a tweet about his plans on going back to school in November saying: "ayy i just got accepted into auburn".

What will happen to Carl and Enid's love affair? The "TWD" producers have not spoken about this but a long distance relationship is not ideal especially when you're in a zombie apocalypse.

However, more proof has backed up Chandler's tweet as his father William Riggs posted a photo on his Instagram account. He captioned the photo saying that his son Chandler has completed his "TWD" journey.

William Riggs even tagged the photo #freedom. The photo seemed like Carl's farewell and "TWD" fans are getting worried. Huffington shared what seemed to be the original caption of Chandler's dad on his Instagram post expressing how grateful he is for making Chandler's seven-year contract a success. William's caption was later changed to a shorter version, see post below.

In a Reddit AMA, we can recall how the "TWD" creator Robert Kirkman shared that Carl still has a large role to play in the series and he even mentioned that he was his personal favorite. Why do you think "The Walking Dead" executives will remove Carl off the series soon?

One of the most heartbreaking death was of Steven Yeun's Glenn. If we recall, Kirkman previously joked about his death on @midnight and came true on the show in Season 7.

Still, in Reddit, he joked about Negan killing Carl as he answered a fan's question. What do you think will happen next? Will Robert Kirkman's statement turn out to come true?
