For several years, the Bermuda Triangle mystery has been making many fear flying or sailing in the triangular area between Puerto Rico, Miami and Florida. Fearing for their lives, they avoid this area even if it means taking a longer route to their preferred destination. Years have passed and numerous reports of ships and plans disappearing have been reported, thus validating the claim that Bermuda Triangle mystery is indeed that of mortifying and death related.
The Bermuda Triangle mystery has long been unsolved, with more planes and ships missing from time to time attributing to its notoriety. Flying over the dreaded area almost automatically means suicide. It is believed that only the lucky ones make it out unscathed in the Bermuda Triangle.
However, the Bermuda Triangle mystery has nothing paranormal attached to it. There is now a logical and scientific explanation behind the disappearance of planes and ships in the area. Yes, these are missing, but not because of anything mysterious in nature.
According to Express, researchers have found huge undersea craters which could be a sign on why vessels, ships and planes "mysteriously" disappear. The half-mile-wide and 150feet deep craters in the Barents Sea are reported to have caused the build-up of methane.
Methane has most likely leaked from deposits of natural gas deeper below the sea bed. This then resulted to the creation of cavities and eventually burst once the pressure is too high. This results to disappearance of planes and vessels.
Though thousands of miles apart, this methane build-up in the Barents Sea is present in the Bermuda Triangle. Bermuda Triangle is described as another version of the Barents Sea occurrence. There is version of this in the Bermuda Triangle where gas hydrates as a reaction to the missing planes and vessels.
As added by Today I Found Out, one of the surfacing theory behind the Bermuda Triangle mystery is the great size of water spouts in the area. The topography of the ocean floor varies from extensive shoals. With the interaction of currents over the reefs, it presents as navigational hazards.
It takes a skilled mariner to traverse through this area. With the methane combustion similar to the Barents Sea, waterspouts and inexplicable and unpredictable currents because of varying reef depths, this indeed is a dangerous place to fly and sail. Now, the Bermuda Triangle mystery is solved.
