Latest NBA News: Cleveland Cavaliers NOT Worried About J.R. Smith's Bad Game; Coach Tyronn Lue On Smith "Keep Shooting"

J.R. Smith has the spotlight again after the Cleveland Cavaliers game against Philadelphia 76ers when the shooting guard finished zero points. However, Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue is not worried and even encourages Smith to keep shooting.

Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the contenders this NBA league. Many are expecting Cavs and Golden State Warriors to battle in the NBA finals for the third consecutive time. However, just like any other teams, Cleveland Cavaliers have their not-so-good gameplay.

Last Saturday, LeBron James and the rest of the Cavs stop off in Columbus, Ohio to watch the game of Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines. A day after, Cleveland Cavaliers faced Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA basketball court.

LeBron James made 26 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Kyrie Irving contributed 39 points while Kevin Love was able to put up 25 points and 11 rebounds. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst games for J.R. Smith.

Per Rolling Stone, Cavs' veteran shooting guard finished the game against 76ers with zero points. J.R. Smith attempted 11 times and missed all of it. In Cleveland Cavaliers game against Dallas Mavericks, Smith only makes a 1-for-11 performance.

This is definitely, a few of the bad games for J.R. Smith. However, Cleveland Cavaliers is still confident in their shooting guard. Cavs is not at all worried with Smith's poor performance in the recent games.

"Keep shooting. I mean, that's what he does," Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue told Cleveland.com. Lue explained that as a shooter, the player needs to make more shots but the sad truth is he can't make every shot. Despite Smith's scoreless game against Philly, Cavs head coach recognizes the player's great contribution in defense.

How do you find J.R. Smith's last performance on Cleveland Cavaliers' game against Philadelphia 76ers? Will Smith be able to make up for his scoreless game soon? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
